On November 10th, SPDWest gathered in Los Angeles, CA for the 13th installment of Unsung Heroes of the American West. The night centered around the "hand rendered" and the artists featured were Michael Rodriguez, Katie Wilson, Alisa Lapidus, Amy Martin, and Priscilla Witte and they were presented by Carly Hebert, Sheharazad Fleming, Julia Luke, Steve Banks, and Sarah Kissel.

Throughout this week, we will share the videos that were shown that evening by the artists. Stay tuned.

With several other magazines shuttering this past year, in September it was announced that mental_floss magazine was also ending its print run. After 15 years in print, the November/December 2016 issue will be mental_floss' last.
