Associate Art Director, Marketing - Men's Health

Men's Health advertising/marketing department is looking for a highly talented, innovative and collaborative Associate Art Director to work with a talented team of graphic and production designers in a fast-paced creative environment. We don't design the magazine, we're like the in-house ad agency for Men's Health - creating 360˚ of advertising and marketing for our advertisers. Summer Design Intern, Consumer Reports & ShopSmart magazines

Our summer intern program is intended to provide undergraduate and graduate students with a rich experience in an area related to their course of study. The internships are full time and last 12 weeks from late May through mid August. Interns will be paid $15 per hour based on a 35-hour work week. Key Responsibilities: • Design and layout. Participation in the layout process, including assisting in layout creation for both print products and iPad edition of Consumer Reports and ShopSmart magazines. • Photo research. Participate in making image recommendations, learning the process for purchasing stock photography, ordering in-house photography, and making photo requests to manufacturers. • Assist on photo shoots. Deputy Art Director - Travel&Leisure

The Deputy Art Director is a one of the leading designers in the art department whose main focus will be on managing, designing and evolving the Radar section of the magazine. The Art Director will oversee and execute design of various print and digital products of the University of Virginia Alumni Association.
