Photo Editor, Architectural Digest

Photo Editor

San Francisco magazine is looking for a highly fun, creative, intelligent, and resourceful photo editor to join our lean, mean art team. Freelance Graphic Designer, Elevation Outdoors Magazine

Summit Publishing seeks an experienced graphic designer to assist in the layout of its Colorado-based publication, Elevation Outdoors magazine, on a freelance, per-issue basis. Designer would be responsible for the majority of editorial design, from FOB sections to department pages and editorial features. This position would report to and work under the guidance of the Art Director. The ideal candidate is highly organized, deadline driven and can follow design standards and brand aesthetic as defined by the Art Director. This position works in close conjunction with our editorial, sales and art staff and necessitates strong communication skills between all departments. Candidates should possess extensive experience with InDesign, a passion for publication design, and familiarity of pre-press standards and language. Photoshop, Illustrator, InCopy skills are also required. Senior Designer, Creative Services

Details is seeking an experienced designer for its editorial art department. The Designer will be responsible for taking front-of-book sections from initial design concept through final shipping for the print magazine, which includes creating preliminary layouts to be reviewed with the Design Director and Creative Director, working with editor to adjust pages for text concerns, and working with the production department to finalize layout components as part of the magazine's shipping process. PART-TIME DESIGNER

New York Magazine seeks a designer who can translate complex print layouts and infographics into clean, compelling formats for the iPad edition. The position is part-time freelance (approx 20-24 hours every other week, Thursday and Friday).
