Senior Designer

  • Job Description:
    WIRED is looking for a senior designer to join our team on the advertising side (NOT editorial), as a full-time freelancer with potential for something more long term. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in the professional world. Projects include designing branding, marketing, and event collateral, as well as online, tablet, and in book units. The designer should be able to take ideas from concept to execution and collaborate well with a team. This position is in an extremely fast-paced environment where prioritization, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Must have a positive "can do" attitude and be willing to wear a lot of hats. Expert knowledge of CS6 InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Keynote, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Adobe DPS and WordPress is a plus. A portfolio with a good eye for typography is a must!
