REDBOOK Magazine Graphic Design Internship

Redbook Magazine (Hearst Corporation) is seeking energetic graphic design students for an internship in the Art Department for Summer 2015 in New York City. Candidates should be eager to learn about how the design department of a national magazine runs. Responsibilities include visual research, maintaining wall of printed layouts, minor imaging work, and editorial design projects. Candidates should be pro-active, have strong communication and organizational skills, and a strong working knowledge of CS5; particularly InDesign and Photoshop. Work will be assigned based on ability. Duration: May--Aug. A commitment of 2-3 days a week is required (10am to 6pm). Most importantly, you MUST be able to receive college credit. This is an unpaid internship, but the experience is great!

Design Intern

Men's Journal editorial art department interns assist in all phases of magazine design and production including designing front of book pages, back of book pages, feature package icons, art department brainstorming sessions, and assisting in the workflow through InDesign & K4. They also assist in the design of our tablet edition, updating the layout wall and other tasks needed to produce the magazine.

Esquire Magazine is seeking an enthusiastic Photo Intern to join their team.
