    The Innovation Collection at Condé Nast is looking for a senior designer to join our team on the advertising/marketing side (NOT editorial). The Innovation Collection includes GQ, WIRED, Golf, Pitchfork, Ars Technica, and Backchannel. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in the professional world. Projects include designing marketing, branding, and experiential event collateral, as well as digital, tablet, and in book units. The designer should be able to take ideas from concept to execution, be comfortable with production (print and digital), and collaborate well with a team. This position is in an extremely fast-paced environment where prioritization, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Must have a positive "can do" attitude and be willing to wear a lot of hats.

  • Job Requirements: Expert knowledge of CC (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Keynote). Knowledge of Sketch and WordPress is a plus. A portfolio with a good eye for typography is a must! RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Manage and participate in ideation, creation and delivery of: - Co-branded ads (print, mobile and digital) - High-impact custom ad units (digital) - Branding design for events and conferences (including the overall look and feel) - Assist in production on video/photoshoots - Design sales materials and Keynote presentations - Advertorials (print & tablet) - Illustration and infographic creation KEY ATTRIBUTES: - Be a strong conceptual thinker - Have exceptional type and layout skills - Have excellent knowledge of Adobe CC, Keynote - Be extremely organized, able to prioritize and multi-task - Be a positive and collaborative team member and potential leader/thinker - Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment - Proficient and/or a working knowledge of digital platforms (various CMS, WordPress, HTML, etc.)
