Production Manager

We're looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to manage production of the print and web editions of The California Sunday Magazine and our live series, Pop-Up Magazine. Primary responsibilities include packaging of InCopy files to InDesign, preparation of web assets for digital publishing, preparation of print layouts for proofing, and travel to press approvals at our printing plant in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will work closely with the editorial, art, digital, and business departments, multitask with awareness of multiple deadlines, and manage asset workflow in both RGB and CMYK environments. Candidates should have a minimum of five years production experience working in the magazine or publishing industry. You pride yourself on strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite.
