Condé Nast Traveler - Graphic Design Intern

Condé Nast is offering a highly competitive and educational internship with Conde Nast Traveler Promotions Art Department. Candidates should have a keen interest in the multi-media industry and should be enrolled undergraduate students studying at a 2-4 year US college/university who will be able to receive credit for participating in this program. The Intern Program will allow students to gain exposure to the industry and will provide a real-world experience that can be a supplement to classroom studies. Specifically, an ideal candidate is detail-oriented, an excellent multi-tasker, is eager to learn and takes initiative. Candidates should have an interest in magazine publishing and strong working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. You will be working closely everyday with the Designers, Art Director and Creative Director on various design projects. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain work experience in the magazine industry. Interns are responsible for updating the Photo Library, archiving, assisting in image research and creative comps. Applicants are required to receive college credit for the internship. You must turn in a letter on college letterhead stating you will be receiving credit. The letter must be signed by a professor, advisor, or the registrar. This position is unpaid. All Condé Nast interns will have the opportunity to attend a Seminar & Events Series throughout the semester, which will highlight the various divisions of the publishing/media business.
