National Geographic is now seeking applications for a Junior Design Editor for work through January 2017. Junior Design Editors report to the Director of Design and are responsible for the print and digital design of the magazine's front-of-book departments including Explore, Visions and Proof photo essays, as well as special projects. This person will also assist Senior Design Editors in the execution of monthly feature stories including the management of workflow, asset files and deadlines throughout the production process. The position is temporary, but has the potential to lead to a full-time position.
