Senior Art Director/Designer

Campbell Ewald is looking for a Senior Art Director/Designer to join their long-form Content Development team. We are looking for multitalented candidates (with a background in art direction and editorial design) that have at least 7 years of experience in publishing or long-form content marketing -- print, video, web, social, mobile and tablets. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about the story being told...in both the print and digital space, and always looking for ways to connect offline-to-online, and vice versa. A client doesn't always know the best way to solve a problem. So we need people who understand how to translate the business problem into strong visual stories told with words, photos, and interactive means. Candidate must be self-motivated, efficient, detail-oriented and have the ability to adapt quickly as project needs change. They must be able to work in a team atmosphere and fast paced environment. In addition, candidates must have experience directing expansive editorial photo shoots, preferably in the areas of fashion and luxury goods. Ideal candidates will have automotive experience. Some light travel may be required. In this position, candidate must be confident in their conceptual and art direction skills and carry the ability to determine the difference between presentation and reality. It is also important that we continue delivering award-winning creative for our clients, so we need a team player who can consistently develop high quality creative across the variety of platforms our content lives: print, video, web, social, mobile and tablets.
