Money magazine is looking for a Freelance Online Photo Editor for its website, Money.com, which launches in June. This position is a freelance position with at least a 9 month commitment. The work schedule is Mon-Fri; roughly 8am-4pm.
The candidate should have at least 2-3 years experience in either online or print publishing. They will serve as the point person for photography of the website. Duties include performing photo research, attending daily morning web meetings, and working directly with the entire Money edit and art staff.
Candidate should have the ability to multi-task and prioritize a daily schedule. They should be able to think conceptually and beyond the expected when it comes to using stock imagery. The candidate should be proficient with Photoshop and the occasional tabletop shoot in our small in-house studio. Good communication skills and the enthusiasm to be part of a web launch are key.
