Chicago Magazine is seeking a talented, freelance designer/art director. This person will work closely with both art and edit teams to produce a wide range of editorial content. Duties will include designing front and back of book sections of the magazine, occasional features, directing photoshoots and hiring illustrators. Candidates must have editorial experience and possess a high level of design sophistication, a keen eye for photography, illustration, and have exceptional typography skills. The position will span ten weeks, starting in mid-September.
This position is on-site, located in Chicago.
