L+R is looking for a badass digital designer to work with us immediately in pioneering the next wave of creative technology products. We're currently working in virtual reality, iBeacon, native apps, mobile games, web apps, and more. If you're hungry to learn and challenge yourself in designing digital top-quality products with a fun and ambitious team in New York City, then L+R may be for you. The ideal candidate is an all-around digital designer - someone who can design across the entire product process (IA -> UX -> UI -> IxD) across various industries & markets and within various mediums (apps, websites, VR and beyond) at the highest level. This is a contract-to-hire position, where we test the waters working together on a contract basis then transition into full-time position after one month if the fit is right. Requirements and skills needed:
- Strong graphic design, logo, and branding skills
- Comprehensive understanding of digital products from web to mobile
- Able to create high quality wireframes, interface designs, and app animations
- Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Illustrator, and Framer
- Able to perform product QA testing and communicate with engineers
- Have worked on bringing at least one high quality digital product to market
