Graphic Designer - The Penn Stater Magazine

The Penn Stater magazine seeks a skilled graphic designer to help design and produce a four-color, bimonthly, 80- to 96-page magazine sent to 165,000 members of the Penn State Alumni Association. Duties include designing magazine sections and occasional features; conducting photo research; preparing digital files for prepress; formatting print content and optimizing images for online use; trafficking files through the production process; and participating in brainstorming and planning discussions with art director and editorial staff. The magazine staff is creative, team-oriented, and committed to producing one of the best publications of its kind; in the past five years The Penn Stater has won more than 180 national awards for writing, design, photography, and illustration.
