Interactive Designer

The interactive designer, under the leadership of the digital director, will work with different departments within D Magazine ranging from editorial, audience development, sales, marketing, and brand. Projects can range from full build of micro sites to style adjustments based on user-behavior. Designer will prepare mockups, wireframes, designs, digital ads, and other UX/UI related items to develop and manage creative ideas from concept to completion. The interactive designer must be able to communicate design ideas in web-friendly terms, as well as collaborate, with the front-end developer. Some topics being discussed in the past month: • enhanced mobile experience across the site • better integration of event listings within editorial content • new and improved corporate site that is easily maintained by sales staff • longform template designs
