This is a hands-on position, involving direction to execution. Job Responsibilities: • Direct new publication designs, execute as needed, manage handover to team graphic designers. • Evolve existing publication designs. • Collaborate with content and photography teams across our segments: Agribusiness Publishing, Chamber Publishing, Economic Development Publishing, and Travel Guides. • Collaborate with and present new publication designs to clients and company executives. (Some travel required.) • Direct the design work of team graphic designers and freelancers, managing freelancer relationships • Hands on magazine production, as a part of design team.

Our current site is now two years old, which of course is more like 8 years old in web-reality, and we are ready for a change. We have a web-geek to do the back-end (which is Drupal) but we need a creative, media-savvy designer who can design a new site for us that foregrounds our media and makes it generally more sexy and more user-friendly.
