Digital Imaging Specialist

Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia is currently seeking a Digital Imaging Specialist for the Publishing Group to work on various titles as needed. The Specialist will be responsible for color correcting, retouching, manipulating, and trafficking images and other related assets. The Specialist must be able to translate mark-ups on proofs to actual retouching, and have the ability to turn work around quickly on tight deadlines. 

Requirements: Expertise in Photoshop CS4 and CS5, with a good working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, and Bridge is required. Must be extremely proficient on a Macintosh Platform. Magazine and or publishing experience is preferred. Must have excellent communications skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and experience working with art directors and print production. An appreciation of the MSLO culture and an interest in the core content areas is preferred. A background in photography would be a plus. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including an occasional late night. 

Freelance Photo Editor for Clear Channel Digital

Clear Channel Digital is searching for an freelance online photo editor for a three week period. The Photo Editor will work closely with the existing photo team to create format specific galleries to run on our network of 750 websites. The music formats range from Rock and Pop to Country and News, so the ideal candidate will have a vast knowledge of not just different music genres, but entertainment as well. Although the current photo team will be supplying several gallery concepts to the freelancer, this position works differently than many photo editing positions. The candidate will also be responsible for not only finding photos for the existing gallery concepts, but helping to come up with new gallery ideas, research them, find the photos as well as caption.
