This position will report to the Managing Editor of Snapchat Discover, and will work closely with a team of designers and editors to create short-form visual animated graphics that further the storytelling of Cosmopolitan.com's content and elevate the brand aesthetic. The designer will be responsible for working within the site's branding guidelines to ensure all content is consistent, but they will also be expected to bring platform appropriate creativity and personality to each edition. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create short-form motion graphics, animations, illustrations and GIFs

• Partner with internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure creative standards are met while innovating and keeping on brand
• Collaborate with studio leads including production department, photographers, fashion editors and project managers
• Build bridges, bringing teams that have uniquely different experiences together to build great creative
• Must obsess over the details
Requirements:
• At least 5+ years experience as a Photo Editor or Art Director, directing shoots
• Portfolio that demonstrates thought leadership and a fashion focused sensibility
• Strong design background and eye for composition
• A positive and professional attitude at all times
• Strong time management, communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to multi-task
• In-depth knowledge of photographers and production processes
• Proficient in latest design tools (Adobe Creative Suite)
• BFA or equivalent in Graphic Design, Advertising or related subject
