Over at Rodale, the company that will do anything to get you to show off (or just acknowledge?) your abs (we're just holding out for when they personally send a trainer out with every subscription), some major news to share about our friends in the art & photo departments at
Men's Health, stemming from the newly created Men's Health and Women's Health Books division:
George Karabotsos, longtime DD for the magazine, has been named Design Director of Men's Health Books. In this new role, George will not only oversee the design of all books, bookazines, and newsstand-only magazines along with brand creative director
Joe Heroun, but also support MensHealth.com and the digital multimedia brand extensions that will emerge from the site.
In addition,
Brandon Kavulla,
former Design Director at
Best Life, has been named Design Director of
Men's Health. Joining him at the magazine will be two additional former members of
Best Life's creative team--Associate Art Director
Dena Verdesca and Deputy Photo Editor
Jeanne Graves--filling the same positions at
Men's Health.
Ayla Christman will also be joining the magazine as Associate Photo Editor.
