Hot on the heels of the news that Theresa Griggs is leaving Glamour for Women's Health comes word that Sarah Viñas will be the new Art Director at Glamour with DD Geraldine Hessler. Viñas has been Managing Art Director there.

Theresa Griggs is leaving her position as AD at Glamour for the top spot as Women's Health Design Director. She replaces Andrea Dunham, who left the magazine in July for the People Design Director gig.

Hollywood Reporter Hires 2 New Top Creatives

Shanti Marlar is leaving Us Weekly as Design Director to be Creative Director of the new Hollywood Reporter weekly in Los Angeles. Joining her in the move and at the new HR will be Photo Director Jennifer Laski, who has been freelancing and consulting after her positions as Photo Director of Departures and Photo Editor of More.

Caleb Bennett Joins the NYT Magazine as Designer

Caleb Bennett, formerly the Associate Art Director at Texas Monthly, is now a Designer at The New York Times Magazine. Prior to his stint at TM in Austin he was a designer at American Way.

TIME Hires 2 New Senior Art Directors

TIME Art Director D.W. Pine welcomes two new Sr. Art Directors to the magazine's art staff this month: April Bell and Emily Crawford. Emily was previously the Creative Director of Culture + Travel, Travel + Leisure and a part of the start-up team at Fast Company. April moved to TIME from her spot as Deputy AD at Money, and was previously at Premiere and Popular Science  magazines.

Gretchen Smelter new Group CD for Edipresse Asia

After 6 years as CD at BRIDES magazine I am leaving to take the Group Creative Director position at Edipresse Asia based in Hong Kong where I will oversee 17 (!!!) magazines.
Gretchen leaves for Hong Kong in early October.
