John Walker, New AD for Mobile Platforms at Popular Mechanics

John Walker will fill the newly created spot of Art Director, Mobile Platforms, for the tablet editions of Popular Mechanics magazine, working with Design Director Michael Lawton. Walker joins the staff after consulting at PopMech on its iPad app since last summer. John was the Creative Director for TV Guide magazine from 2004 to 2009 and Art Director at Entertainment Weekly from 1997 to 2004.

Andre Mora, New DD at Seattle Met

Andre Mora, a veteran of PlutoMedia, O the Oprah Magazine, Nylon, and Don Morris Design, has been named DD at Seattle Met, replacing the recently departed Benjamen Purvis, now CD at Men's Journal.

Christy Sheppard, New AD at Architectural Digest

Christy Sheppard is the new Art Director at Architectural Digest. She had been Sr. AD at Martha Stewart Living.
