Chris Hercik, Expanded Role as CD of Sports Illustrated

Sports Illustrated Creative Director Christopher Hercik will take on creative oversight for all Sports Illustrated web and digital products, it was announced by Time Inc Sports Group Editorial Director Paul Fichtenbaum.  Hercik, who had overseen the creative direction for all SI print and tablet products will expand his portfolio to include all consumer products and brand platforms.

"Chris is the ideal modern-day Creative Director--he's comfortable and intuitive working across all platforms, who brings a gifted and innovative approach to design," said Fichtenbaum

Ian Robinson, New CD at Ebony Magazine


Ian Robinson has been appointed as the new Creative Director of Ebony Magazine. Formerly, Ian was the Design Director of SPIN Magazine and the Creative Director of Stuff Magazine.

Kirby Rodriguez Resurfaces at Hearst's O

In search of yet another new look, O: The Oprah Magazine has hired Kirby Rodriguez, former DD at Conde Nast's Cookie, as its new DD, replacing (Robert) Priest + Grace (Lee).

Since March 2010, Rodriguez has been Associate CD of photography at the retail chain Talbots. Before that he was DD of Cookie, which was nominated for two ASME General Excellence Awards and two SPD Magazine of the Year Awards.

Julia Moburg, New AD at Travel + Leisure


Julia Moburg has been appointed the new Art Director of Travel + Leisure Magazine. Before joining T+L, she freelanced at TIMEThe New York Times Magazine and Food + Wine.
