Ian Brown Goes Freelance?

Heard but not completely confirmed (or, not public, but it's all in the service of Musical Chairs!): Ian Brown, most recently Deputy AD at Field & Stream, is breaking the bonds of working for The Man for the wide world of freelancing. Up first? A gig at Men's Health

C U L8R, Ciudad. Luv, Tom.

Tom O'Quinn, longtime CD at LA's Tu Ciudad, is the new Deputy Art Director at Bon Appétit with DD Matt Lenning.

Changes at Complex and OK! Ok? Ok.

Sean Bumgarner has left his position as DD at Complex to take on the Creative Director job at OK! Rely on him for all your Celebrity Baby Insider knowledge to win the office pool.

Stepping up to fill the DD spot at Complex is Tim Leong, previously the Deputy AD with the magazine, SPD judging über-hero, and Editor-in-Chief at Comic Foundry. God, Tim, you're such a slacker.

O, My Goodness.

Carla Frank, the founding Design Director at O, The Oprah Magazine (one of the most successful magazine launches ever -- did you know?) has left the magazine in search of exciting new projects, a spankin' new website, and maybe, finally, a little time to breathe. Sounds fantastic, lady!

Taking the reigns at O for a time will be Bob Newman, who had been consulting at Cottage Living. (Also the proprietor of a sparkly website... hmm.)
