Vanessa Holden Out as EIC at Martha Stewart Living

Vanessa Holden is leaving the EIC spot at Martha Stewart Living for a job as the SVP of Creative Services at West Elm. She had been CD at Real Simple before moving to MSLO.

Folio: reports this morning that Vanessa Holden is moving from her Editor in Chief position at Martha Stewart Weddings to the same position for the company's flagship, Martha Stewart Living. She replaces Gael Towey, who had been Acting EIC for Living since January, and has been promoted to Editorial Director for the company. Previous to her role as editor, Holden had been the CD at Real Simple and Donna Hay in Australia. (Making her the perfect ArtDirEditor.) Katie Hatch, formerly the Style Director for Weddings, will become that magazine's EIC.

Susan Casey, New Editor at Oprah

Mediaweek reports this morning that Susan Casey, longtime Time Inc. development editor, former editor of SI for Women and Creative Director at Outside, is taking the helm at Hearst's O, the Oprah Magazine. She replaces Susan Reed, who stepped into the position about a year ago.

Anna Last, new Editor of Martha Stewart's Everyday Food

The Real Simple/Martha Stewart to and fro continues.  Aussie expat Anna Last is leaving her post as Senior Style Editor for Real Simple where she has served since November of '07.  Anna will head up Martha's Everyday Food starting in the new year. Â
