C.V.:  Hector began his career working for Newcity, an alternative weekly in Chicago, before moving on to become the AD at Chicago magazine. A brief stint at Danilo Black (as in Roger Black) took him to Monterrey, Mexico, where he worked on several projects including Tú, the Mexican equivalent of Tiger Beat. Since then, Sanchez has zig-zagged his way across the country working for city magazines such as Atlanta Magazine, Portland Monthly, and finally, Indianapolis Monthly. Sanchez also works with his wife Alejandra on several freelance projects.

C.V.: Gail began her career at Chicago based Studio Blue, a small design group that specializes in creating art books. She later founded Gail Bichler Design, a studio catering to museum and publishing clients, and taught at Minneapolis College of Art and Design. In 2004, Gail relocated to New York and worked as a freelancer for various studios and magazines, most notably 2x4, T, The New York Times Style Magazine, and The New York Times Magazine where she is currently the AD. She graduated from the University of Michigan.

Having gained valuable experience at a handful of small design companies, he joined the internationally acclaimed studio Frost Design, later becoming Creative Director. In 2005 he co-founded Studio8 Design with Zoë Bather. In 2011 Matt co-launched Port Magazine and is the co-Creative Director of the title.
