Pub Crawl Raves

Pub Crawl Raves Our Pub(lications) Crawl event last Friday was a big hit. Students from around the NYC-area and beyond got invaluable behind-the-scenes looks at Family Circle, Martha Stewart Living, The New York Times Magazine, People, Popular Mechanics and Teen Vogue. But don't take our word for it: hear it straight from your fellow students' mouths....

Pratt Institute grad student Addie Diller had this to say:
I had an absolute blast on Friday and learned so much. It was amazing to be in such professional, creative and respected environments. I am excited to be an SPD Student Member and look forward to future events. Thanks to everyone who made it happen!
Patti Look traveled all the way from the University of Maryland to join us, and it sounds like the trip was worth it:
I learned a lot about the magazine industry and how it's run. People and The New York Times Magazine are such high-quality publications. I hope that SPD continues to put on events like this one. It's not everyday that I get to participate in the New York design scene and I'm glad to have taken part.
Thanks to all the wonderful presenters and tour guides, and a big thanks to all of you who attended!
