Online Student Design Show:Entries Due June 1 Now that the school year is winding down and you've just finished a bunch of big projects, we want to see what you've been up to! So without further ado...

Announcing our new online student editorial design show juried by the pros: Show and Tell 2011. We want to see what great editorial design you've been working on. Forget rules, forget formulas and just show us the best stuff you have going. If you are chosen, we will showcase your work in an exclusive online gallery on the SPD website. It's a great way to get your work in front of magazine art directors with the power to hire fresh, young talent. Find all the details and PDF to download after the jump.


HOW TO ENTER:

Send us up to 3 pieces of your finest editorial design work from the 2010-2011 academic year. A piece can be either a single page or a double-page spread. We will display selected work in a special online gallery at spd.org.

1. Download the Official Entry Form here, fill it out and have your instructor sign it.

2. Scan the signed form from your accredited school and attach it along with either low res pdfs or 72 dpi RGB jpeg files (no larger than 5M) and send to studentjury@spd.org. We are accepting digital entries only.

3. Check the SPD website from time to time for updates; we'll let you know what schools are sending entries, so the heat will be on.

4. Deadline: June 1, 2011

THE FINE PRINT: Submissions must be approved by a professor or teacher. All entries with completed forms must be received via email to studentjury@spd.org by 5pm EST, June 1, 2011. Late entries will not be accepted. If you have any questions, email us at studentjury@spd.org, the earlier the better. The winners will be notified by email between June 16-25, 2011.
