TOUR B: NYLON & THE NEW YORKER

"I had a great time at the Pub Crawl! It was really informative and eye-opening to know that these different creative jobs exist within publishing." --SARA, Pratt Institute

TOUR D: EVERY DAY WITH RACHAEL RAY & POPULAR MECHANICS

"This tour gave great insight into the real world of publication design, offering aspiring students to learn first-hand from working professionals about the art department of a publication. In addition, it gave me an opportunity to get to know my tour guides - also working professionals - who were willing to share their experiences and advice. Altogether, the tour was very helpful and answered lots of my questions and pointed me in the right direction." -ALISA, School of Visual Arts

TOUR D: EVERY DAY WITH RACHAEL RAY & POPULAR MECHANICS

"Looking at the real, professional world outside of school gave me inspiration not just for producing better design solutions, but also for how to plan the next few years of my life.  It was a wonderful opportunity to find out what the industry needs and expects from students when they go for a job in the future. And for students without any internship experiences yet, it was also a great chance to experience the workplaces and to get a sense of how to get an internship, and how to behave well. I can't wait to go on the 2014 Pub(lications) Crawl already! -JANIE, School of Visual Arts

Our Pub(lications) Crawl event happens every fall, typically the last Friday of September and registration opens late August/early September. So mark your calendars now for next year and we'll see ya then!
  • Congrats on a great job! Sorry I couldn't make this one, but look forward to next year!
