Meet Our Feb. 2015 Mini-Pub Crawl Hosts: McCandliss & Campbell/9Threads Custom Publishing
This spring we're following up the success of our fall Pub(lications) Crawl with smaller versions of the office/studio tour event, and the first up is Friday, February 13. Our hosts will be Nancy Campbell and Trevett McCandliss who make up design studio McCandliss & Campbell and are the creative force behind 9Threads Custom Publishing. Together they create gorgeous layouts and designs using super-creative typography and fashion art direction ... whether you're an aspiring graphic designer, photographer or fashion designer, this tour will give you amazing insight into how the real world works and even some inspiration for your own projects.
If you're an SPD Student Member, you can join us for this special tour event for FREE and through midnight on February 6, you get priority registration over non-members. But you gotta sign up now. All other students, it's only $5 to come and as of Feb. 7, registration is first-come, first-served. Because this is a special event, we only have room for 10 students, so reserve your spot now!*

Nancy Campbell has a BFA in Graphic Design from The School of Visual Arts, and prior to her current role, she has worked at several fashion magazines including Harper's Bazaar, Mademoiselle and YM.
Trevett McCandliss has a BFA from Syracuse University, and also studied at The New York Studio School and The School of Visual Arts. Before his current role, he was art director at NYPIRG (The New York Public Interest Research Group) and created compelling campaign posters.
Together they now make up the creative direction team of McCandliss & Campbell where they produce concept-driven fashion magazines. Over the last seven years, their innovative work has won over 100 awards from The Society of Publication Designers, Communication Arts, Graphis and Creative Quarterly.
