LOOK: What's Inspiring the GQ Photo Department, Part 1

Beginning this month, SPD is introducing Look, an ongoing series that will highlight the images that are inspiring, piquing, and stirring up conversation in various magazines' photography departments. Think of it as an ever-changing moodboard. First up: GQ's photography department, led by Dora Somosi.
We have been watching--with a drop of envy--the rise of quarterly magazines: their lush pages, their luxurious lead times, and those portfolios with double-digit page lengths. The standout in the group is Love, the biannual magazine established in 2009, whose sixth issue is titled 'Super Natural' and is described by Love's editor-in-chief Katie Grand as a combination of 'fetish, discipline and innocence.'
