Mirrored Covers

Mirrored Covers This week's BusinessWeek cover is a classic design by art director Andrew Horton and illustrator Christoph Niemann, using the right-side-up/upside down approach. That got us thinking about other magazines that have designed covers in this format. Here are four more classics of the genre, covers from Fortune, Time, and Mad
If you know of others that we missed, please post a link in the Comments section or email them to tips@spd.org, and we'll add them to the list. (Updated: 11.1.12; 1.21.16)

The NY Times Magazine had a great upside-down cover years ago. Can't find it in my SPD annuals. :(

It was about preparing for the unexpected or something ... entirely silver-grey, no type, just an upside-down logo positioned at the bottom of the page.
