    Hearst Digital Media is seeking a Art Director, Branded Content Studio to join the Creative team overseeing the imagery for the custom content the Studio creates in partnership with advertisers to run on all of our digital properties, including Elle.com, ElleDecor.com, MarieClaire.com, CountryLiving.com, Esquire.com, GoodHousekeeping.com, and Seventeen.com. Job Description: This position will report in to the Creative Director of HDM and will work closely with the Content Studio team to create photography and oversee design that engages our readers, furthers the storytelling of the brands we work with and meets or surpasses the quality of our non-branded editorial. You will work in close partnership with editors, writers and project managers, as well as the Creative Director. Responsibilities: Conceptualize imagery for custom content, and lead team to execute, including directing on set Lead team of photo editors, photo techs, stylists, hair/make-up artists and models delivering a high-output of creative assets in a fast-paced environment Ensure all imagery adheres to the standards of the Hearst site on which it runs Roll up your sleeves to produce highly creative, best-in-class imagery Partner with internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure creative standards are met while innovating and keeping on brand Identify and recruit exceptional photographers, stylists and other creative talent Build bridges, bringing teams that have uniquely different experiences together to build great creative Must obsess over the details

  • Job Requirements: Requirements: At least 5+ years experience as a Photo Editor or Art Director, directing shoots Portfolio that demonstrates thought leadership and a fashion focused sensibility Strong design background and eye for composition A positive and professional attitude at all times Strong time management, communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to multi-task In-depth knowledge of photographers and production processes Proficient in latest design tools (Adobe Creative Suite) BFA or equivalent in Graphic Design, Advertising or related subject
