We have some mid-level designer shifts available (mostly weekends) to help conceptualize, design and execute top snaps and longform features in our snapchat discover environment.
The ideal candidate is a super fast and meticulous designer with a great sense of hierarchy and story-telling and has the ability to generate cool visuals for millions of young and enthusiastic sports fans!

Requirements:
• Energy...lots of it! because...SPORTS!
• Expert knowledge of After Effects (really looking for someone with motion skills), Photoshop, Illustrator (Indesign a plus but not essential)
• Ability to work remotely
• 2+ years experience in design field
• Strong independent worker that is accustom to working in a fast pace environment
• Exceptional time management skills
• Demonstrated record of contributing to design solutions on tight deadlines
• Self-motivated, a natural problem-solver, and a good communicator with a demonstrated ability to multitask
• Passion for social media and trends, specifically within Snapchat
Responsibilities
• Collaborating daily with editorial leads to drive the visual storytelling experience for ESPN's Snapchat channel.
• Creating unique animated "top snaps" and supporting the design of the "below the fold experience"
• Approaching each individual story with a keen design eye for visual hierarchy and strong typography.
• Passion for collaborating with editorial on content creation that serves the fan.
• Contributing to content collaborations, (a general knowledge of sports would be a huge plus.)
