Condé Nast India seeks a dynamic and innovative Art Director for a full-time staff position for its magazine Vogue. Overview The candidate should have 7-10 years of creative work experience. Job details: • To lead the design management of the magazine and app, exhibiting best-in-class use of key design skills such as typography, application of color theory and image selection. • To be responsible for the production and delivery of pages and to meet specified deadlines. • Art direction and management of photo for the magazine maintaining consistency and developing new ideas. • Working with the editor and the fashion director to create dynamic and exciting covers that are in line with the latest trends with a strong commercial awareness. • Ensure that the brand image and brand design values are consistent and in line with the publishing strategy. • To work with internal employees including the editorial team, Publisher, Managing Editor, Marketing teams and other departments. • Liaise with external contributors and suppliers when required. • To manage freelance art contributors when required. • Ensure that all design administration is accurate to ensure contributors and image rights are retained. • Other ad hoc duties as required
