Marie Claire magazine seeks an Designer for a full-time staff position.
Candidates should be detail-oriented and possess a sophisticated, yet chic design
Sense. MUST have a strong grasp of typography, and specific experience in
managing projects from conception to completion under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities include designing FOB editorial pages, collages for fashion pages,
as well as generating concepts and designing layouts for
MC's digital tablet editions and will undertake other art
direction assignments at the request of the Design Director.
Requirements:
*At least 3 years of graphic design experience PLUS 1-2 years of digital
design experience with iPad
* Possess strong typographic expertise and sophisticated design aesthetic
* Ability to problem solve and work as a team player
* Work under pressure, when needed, to meet deadlines
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite ( K4 or woodwing)
* Experience in women's fashion
