Foreign Policy, an award winning, fast growing online and print magazine that is part of the Washington Post Company, is seeking an energetic visual journalist to join our team. An ideal candidate is an organized, self-motivated and efficient creative pro who can: - Edit slide shows and other photography projects for our dynamic web site, foreignpolicy.com. - Assist the creative director and art director with design of Foreign Policy, our National Magazine Award winning glossy print magazine, published seven times per year. - Design/produce e-books, web site splash pages and other elements of the expanding FP brand. Ability to produce informational graphics for print and interactive graphics for web/video is a big plus, as is an interest in international affairs and current events. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator is essential. Knowledge of HTML, CSS and/or video graphics software would be a bonus. We are looking for someone with one to two years of experience or a recent grad with a strong portfolio and relevant internships.
