The Part-Time Assignment Editor I coordinate the activities of staff and freelance reporters and associated production and technical personnel providing visual sports and news coverage and program materials for ESPN's networks; communicates with reporters on assignments; coordinates remote and studio events. Project - Coordinator CPNU

The Project - TENGO Coordinator will be working on the logistics involved in utilizing TENGO equipment in the field. This includes bureau kits and accessories, TVU packs and Fujitsu units. The Project - TENGO Coordinator will need to maintain schedule calendar for all TVU units and bureau kits. Anywhere. - Coordinate with the logistics center on shipping of units to and from assignments - Setup and facilitate courier services when needed to dispatch units quickly - Would be knowledgeable enough about the coverage plans to create efficiencies when assignments are in close proximity - Coordinates with vendors and ESS for replacement parts and repair of equipment - Responsible for ordering additional equipment and accessories when needed - Follows up on shipping of units from remote locations, to ensure they are being picked up - Will be the point person for requests outside of the SC coverage Unit - Communicates with transmission for heads up on particularly heavy or important TVU coverage days/assignments - This project job could morph into part of a production coordinator job servicing SportsCenter, should that position ever materialize. - It is possible this position won't be needed after 19 months, because, as technology advances, much of this equipment could become small enough for our producers to travel themselves. - Strong organization skills. Work with Logistic Center to develop the best logistical plan for storing and accessing TENGO spare equipment and TVU packs. - Extremely detail oriented. Need to keep close track of the whereabouts of TENGO equipment as well as the repair history of each unit. - High proficiency in Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Can use formulas in Excel to create and maintain various tracking documents and charts. - Monitors TVU feeds to alert potential problems and keeps track of TVU performances at our frequent locations. - Might need to work during after-hours to support last-minute production needs. - Some basic SAP knowledge preferred. Designer - Digital Media

As a member of the Digital Media design team within the Disney | ABC Television Group, this person will execute design solutions for digital video products across ABC, ABC Family, Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior brands. This person will collaborate with Product, Marketing, Brand and IT teams in creating the next generation of compelling digital product concepts, designs and user experiences. This position collaborates directly with in-house virtual technology and creative teams, production clients, and outside vendors to keep project expectations, timelines, and deliverables on track. This is a hands-on position requiring individuals who possess strong conceptualization skills, in depth knowledge of how to execute virtual graphics in studio and remote environments, the ability to offer unique creative solutions, change direction easily, push their creativity and software skills to higher levels, exploit new technology, and actively communicate on all phases of a project to maintain the quality of on-air product. Sr. Art Director

ESPN is seeking a multifaceted, multitalented Sr. Art Director to join our Print and Digital design group in Bristol. The art director will work closely with the Digital and Print creative director to help define and develop new visual and typographic directions for ESPN The Magazine as well as a variety of digital initiatives including app and web design. Candidates should excel as hands-on designers, as managers and at ideation. Their sense of design and typography must be clean, classic and highly developed, with an inherent knowledge of the role it plays in defining a brand. They should have a deep interest in information graphics, illustration, photography--and sports. In this position, the art director is expected to be a leader within the department, manage illustrators and coordinate the work of freelance designers. The ability to conceptualize content and articulate it to co-workers, however, is perhaps the most valuable skill a candidate can possess.
