Essential Homme is a print and digital men's fashion magazine (website: www.essentialhommemag.com) is seeking a junior graphic design student for an internship in the Art/Photo/Graphic Design Section. This is an unpaid internship. The intern will assist in the daily workflow of the magazine and on our photoshoots if needed. Duties will include: closely working with our Art & Design Director, updating layouts, minor imaging retouching work, and some design. Candidates should have an interest in magazine publishing, strong working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Has some print design experience, good typographic skills, and a solid understanding of the grid. Web design and HTML, Video Editing knowledge is a huge plus but not necessarily required. Must provide a portfolio of recent work and is eager to learn.
