This role will act as the primary source for the visual components of the site including original photos, infographics and animations. The photo editor will not only create engaging images of his/her own but will track down the visuals needed to make any piece complete. YOU WILL Research and edit photos for daily posts and slideshows on FWx.com and foodandwine.com. Create engaging, shareable graphics and infographics to compliment and enhance articles. Shoot original photos in house and at events or venues.Track photo use in the FWx and Food & Wine content management systems. Building galleries in the FWx content management system.Pitch ideas for photo driven pieces that fit the brand.

Production Manager

The Food & Wine/Travel + Leisure Production Hub is seeking an energetic, highly motivated Production Manager to work with the Food & Wine Production Director to manage the editorial production process from start to finish--including trafficking art and proofs; working on InDesign files; and attaching and styling text in WoodWing. To be successful in this position, you will have at least five years editorial print production experience, be extremely detail-oriented, be quality-focused and work independently and with initiative.

FREELANCE MULTIMEDIA PRODUCER

Food & Wine is seeking a freelance (35 hrs/week) multimedia producer to support our digital team and social media operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience creating video and shooting photography for social media, as well as producing engaging lifestyle content for the web at a fast pace.

Photo Assistant, Food & Wine

The Photo Assistant will support the Photo Department with the shared goal of acquiring beautiful imagery for the Food & Wine brand (magazine, website, books). -- Coordinate shoot logistics: Book travel for crew; prepare shoot scripts; ensure all model releases are in; call in credits from prop stylists. --Ensure all contracts are signed and filed prior to publication and that all assignment letters are sent out in a timely manner. --Upload digital files; add metadata; order hi-res files. --Update monthly budget sheets. --Process invoices and follow-up on outstanding bills; update accruals list; prepare/submit expense reports. --Handle miscellaneous administrative duties for the Photo Department (send out magazines and PDFs to contributors; send props to set; check photo credits). --When time permits, call in pick-up photographs for front-of-the-book stories.
