The Huffington Post is looking for a DIGITAL DESIGNER to work on all aspects of the web and mobile. The designer will report into the Head of Design & UX.

• A stellar portfolio of engaging products you've designed; editorial experience is important.
• Experience taking initiative, and building things from scratch.
• Experience working collaboratively in cross disciplinary teams including editorial, sales, and tech.
• Jedi Master skills with Adobe Creative Suite as well as a pen
• Ability to iterate quickly in a fast paced environment.
• Degree in Design.
• Cool points if you know HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery.

As a member of the HuffPost Tech Team you will start launching new software ASAP. We use a real-world agile development process that includes rapid development of new products designed by small teams working closely with our tech-savvy data-driven editors. We are innovating on the web with partners like TED Talks and leading editorial teams in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa; on mobile with new and ground breaking iOS and Android applications and responsive websites; and with our realtime video network HuffPost Live.

Huffington Post Sales & Marketing Designer

Do you think that great design can change the world? We do, and not in an incremental teeny change the world sort of way. We mean the change how people engage with democracy, hold elected officials and corporations feet to the fire, connect citizens to solve major problems, help people understand complex issues, and lead the news industry into the 21st century sort of way.

What can you expect? You'll be given complex problems and have to design elegant advertising and marketing solutions (and work with the sales and marketing team to figure out the right way to incorporate new ads/microsites/sweepstakes,etc. into our current design). Designer for Digital Magazine

Huffington Post Media Group is launching a new weekly magazine for the iPad.

The Huffington Post is looking for a hard-working and talented editorial designer to join our growing art department designing weekly digital magazines. We're designing original magazines for tablets, not reformatting print pages. We are looking for a team payer who can work closely with designers, editors, and photo editors to come up with design solutions and great ideas. Attention to detail a must, as well as typography skills, organization, and ability to manage multiple design projects. 

Proficiency in Adobe CS5 (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and must. Knowledge of K4 and experience with weeklies, redesigns and launches are a plus.
