CUT PHOTO EDITOR New York Media Job Description: New York Media seeks a Cut Photo Editor for its fashion website, The Cut. The Cut Photo Editor will maintain the standards of photography for the site as well as select and edits tens of images daily for story illustrations as requested by The Cut's editorial team. Responsibilities include: • Work in Photoshop to crop and upload photos into nymag.com's image management system. • Help coordinate the production of original photography: includes bookings, budgets, and calendars. • Drive photo selection of parties and events. • Suggest appropriate photographers for original shoots. • Collaborate with nymag.com's design department. • Manage relationships with stock agencies such as Getty and Corbis. • Ensure correct photo credit + image captions.
