Harper's Bazaar Magazine Art department Internship

Harper's Bazaar magazine is offering unpaid internships in the Art/Design Department to dedicated students for the Summer semester of 2016. Applicants must be able to receive academic credit for the internship. Interns should have working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign and Photoshop. They should also be familiar with design terminology, fashion jargon, as well as some knowledge of the key photographers, artists, and influencers in the industry. Some processes you will learn will be: organizing the art flow, updating the "book" & "mini" wall for the Editor-in-Chief, and how to design front of book pages. Experience with Photoshop & InDesign is necessary, and a major relating to graphic design & interest in fashion is ideal. Internships are typically 2-3 days a week, beginning early January and ending in May. College credit for the internship required.
