Nautilus is seeking an experienced freelance senior designer for a new online publication. Responsibilities: Collaborates on the look and feel of the magazine. Creates and manages all graphics, video, images and icons for use on the site. Implements the web design parameters, style guides and visual standards. Establishes and produces graphic material for use in advertising and promoting online services and products. Understanding of best practices for online advertising and social media. Creates digital editions of the magazine, using existing templates. Reports to Art Director and Managing Editor. Familiar with and an enthusiasm for leading edge science and philosophy.
