CHICAGO, the largest monthly city regional magazine in the US, is looking for a full-time designer in the editorial art department. Responsibilities include: working closely with editors to design FOB sections, occasional features and special projects, assigning photos and illustrations, and generating graphics. Candidates should be self-starters with great communication skills. Candidates should also be capable of juggling multiple assignments from concept to completion while maintaining a positive attitude. A portfolio of strong editorial work, at least three years of experience, and expertise in Adobe Creative Suite is required. Knowledge of k4 and digital platforms is a plus. This is a fun, fast paced environment where you'll work among a small, dynamic staff. Our office is located in downtown Chicago. Full benefits and EOE.
