Entry Level / Junior Designer

St. Louis Media has a new opportunity for an entry level or junior designer. This position will act as an under-study to our award-winning Art Department. Our new designer will be given the opportunity to learn and hone their craft and skills across a broad range of projects including digital advertisements and newsletters, sales and marketing collateral, event collateral, front of book and back of book editorial pages, and custom media, such as annual reports and special interest books. We are interested in creative candidates with a passion for design, typography, photography, and illustration. You must be comfortable working as part of a small team and confident in working on new projects that will need to be built from the ground up.

Designer (Sales/Marketing) St. Louis Magazine

St. Louis magazine is looking for a mid-level designer to join our Art Department (advertising/marketing) in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of professional experience in the graphic design industry. Official responsibilities include: Design advertorials, advertising supplements, in-house branding materials (media kit, etc.), circulation projects (ie sub cards, house ads, direct mail, e-blasts, online circ projects), ads for print and digital publication, marketing, event,  and sales collateral. Should have good production skills as well. The designer should be able to take ideas from concept to execution and collaborate well with a team. This position is in a fast-paced environment where prioritization, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Must have a positive "can do" attitude, and a strong work ethic. A stellar portfolio with extreme attention to detail is a must.
