Spring Pub Crawl Wrap-Up
Last Friday's Pub(lications) Crawl event was a huge success, thanks to our terrific hosts and student participants. But don't take it from us: see what the tour-goers had to say... their comments and more photos after the jump.The Pub Crawl exceeded my expectations. Although I didn't get to go on my first-choice tour, I was pleasantly surprised by the art directors/designers' openness and excitement in welcoming us into their workspace.
Visiting the publications made me realize that office size doesn't matter; what matters is a person's passion for design and ability to communicate information through a layout.
I was surprised that the designers were so keen on the iPad and what it could do to revolutionize the industry. It boggles the mind to think that one piece of technology could completely change the industry.
It was a truly wonderful experience for me and great exposure.
