In case you haven't noticed, there's some MAJOR discussion going on in the editorial design world:
• Check out our SPD post with tons of great commentary here.
• Writer/Editor Andrew Losowsky states his own argument: part one and two.
• Also noted on MagCulture with comparisons to an iPad app.
• A Photo Editor notes designers' reactions are similar to that of photographers in regards to cheap stock photography. And even puts forth the idea that this whole thing might be an opportunity for photographers.

There's probably much more out there as well. And as a future designer, editor, photographer, illustrator or creative of any kind, you better be reading.
