...I asked her to share one.

"Hmmm, there were lots of memorable ones in different ways - the Annie Leibovitz shoot I screwed up in 1996 back when I was the Assistant Photo Editor at Vanity Fair.   For the first Hollywood issue, Annie wanted to photograph Bob Hope with some Vegas strippers but didn't want him to know until the day of the shoot.  I put together two call-sheets - one for Mr. Hope's office and one for everyone else that had all the stripper info. I accidentally faxed Mr. Hope's office the wrong call-sheet - the one with all the stripper information.  When I realized what I'd done, called his office asking in vain for his secretary to discard the first call-sheet, but she was no dummy.  Needless to say, Annie did NOT get to photograph him with the strippers, and she wasn't too happy with me."  

Lisa Berman has worked at New York Woman Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, and helped launch Condé Nast's Portfolio as the Photography Director. This summer she returned to Entertainment Weekly.
