For the 48th SPD Pub competition and gala, Co-chairs Courtney Murphy and Marshall McKinney sought to acknowledge the "bespokeness" that adds interest to our increasingly homogenous world, celebrating publishers both large and small that are creating customized publications with an emphasis on individuality.

The next bespoke pub of which you may may not yet be aware: Click, a magazine for the modern photograp[her]. This magazine is many things but its primary goal is a simple one, to help women (mostly Moms) become better photographers.
WHO THEY ARE:Click is a love letter created for the modern photograp[her]. The bimonthly magazine, launched last fall with a November/December 2012 issue, is the brainchild of Kendra Okolita, chairman and founder, and Sarah Wilkerson, CEO, Clickin Moms (clickinmoms.com, one of the largest female photography communities in the world.) Cameron Bishopp Davis, Editor-in-Chief, and Karisa Gilmer, Director of Sales. Click, a print publication for anyone in love with photography is Art Directed by fellow founder Lisa Thé who was notably part of the team at Martha Stewart Weddings and SPD fave Blueprint before moving to Vancouver Canada to start a family.
WHAT YOU'LL FIND INSIDEClick was created to be a soulful and inspiring experience. In addition to some of the best photography inspiration and education to be found, Click touches on home, kids, style, design and other subjects that feed and further the imagination. The magazine is an experience of unparalleled richness: the tactile sensation of fine paper, the visual beauty of printed images, and the excuse to slip away to a park bench, a coffeehouse, or a cozy chair in the evening to indulge in the knowledge, experiences, products and artistry curated by photographers for photographers. By the time you get to the last page, we hope to leave you creatively invigorated and with a renewed sense of the many ways photography enriches your daily life.
