From the Student Competition Archives: Competition #11 - 2009 Winners
As we celebrate SPD's 50th Anniversary, we're going back in time to showcase all the past Student Competition winners. (And don't forget to enter THIS year's competition. Details here.)
Back in the beginning, the competition was more like the professional competition in that it honored the best work being done by students from the past year (as opposed to now where you create entries specifically for our competition). But with the 6th competition in 2000, we started giving an assignment.
Last week we showcased the top winners from that 2008 competition. And today we're highlighting all the winners from 2009. This 11th Student Competition was published in Pub 44...

The top prize in 2009 was the Adobe Scholarship in Honor of B.W. Honeycutt with a $2,500 reward, Adobe CS4, and an internship at W magazine. Second place got $1,000, Adobe CS4 and an Internship at Inc. magazine. Third place won $500. All three received Adobe's Creative Suite Software. The first and second honorable mention recipients won an internship at Esquire and Glamour magazine, respectively.
